Maryland Daily Photo Every Week Day a New Picture from MD

Mountains and cities alongside a bay and an ocean.  Maryland is like America in miniature, and now there’s a website that is like Maryland in miniature. 

How is this website like Maryland in miniature?  Does it have panhandle?  Does it have a deep photo of a man-made lake?  Does it contain the world’s tallest pentagonal photograph?  Is there a section of it that has been set aside for use as an equestrian sanctuary?   All these questions will be answered in time, so you had better come back every day to get new pieces to these puzzles.  

The real purpose of this website is to allow everyone to see some of their favorite things in the state from a different viewpoint, and to allow you to learn more about the state as I learn more.   

Learning more is the key, because my inventory of Maryland photographs is voluminous like Backbone Mountain, but shallow, like the tidal scenes on the second floor of the aquarium.   So that means that I’ll be branching out (insert bay pun here) and slowly taking trips to photograph and to learn more about all the various areas of the state.

If you’ve got photos you’d like to share let us know too, because there’s lots to see and it can’t be covered by just one citizen.
