How great is this? First of all, who doesn’t enjoy a train picture?
Second, it’s time to discuss ADC maps. In the days of GPS and electronic navigation “do-dads,” I’m holding fast to my ADC maps. At this point I have so many of the counties covered, it would be anticlimactic to move to another media.
Third: Howard County may be loaded with civility, but apparently it’s lacking in points of interest. The ADC map for the county blatently features a picture taken in the middle of Baltimore. Civility: everywhere. Points of Interest: proximity to Baltimore.
Fourth: Ok I’ll admit Howard County has points of interest. In fact, we’ve covered a few of them. Ellicott City was the terminus of the first train trip in the United States. Today there is even a branch of the B&O museum there. I’m sure that someone from out of state (now that ADC is folded into the much larger American Map company) just mistook this picture of the Baltimore B&O museum for the Ellicott City museum.
