Maryland Daily Photo Every Week Day a New Picture from MD

I’m posting a picture from out of state.  It has happened before, and now it’s happening again.

MDP took a very long train trip last week and came across this expatriate of the state: a B&O rail car named Silver Spring sitting in a depot in Utica, New York.

I’m justifying this out of state picture for all of the MDP readers in the Silver Spring area and all of the MDP  readers who also enjoy trains.  This car was an observation car, meant to be pulled at the back of a train and apparently it’s still operated.  There’s a picture from someone else, who found it in Ohio.
