There are a few clues in this picture that betray the fact that this was not taken on an actual beach. The square lamp in the foreground and the strip of concrete in the background may be hints that this is in the middle of Baltimore. In fact, this is Rash Field, the flat stip of land between the harbor and federal hill park. It’s been home to any number of odd things, from ice rinks to this volleyball court.
