Maryland Daily PhotoEvery Week Day a New Picture from MD

I was digging through old pictures the other day, which in modern times means looking through folders on my computer, and came across this one.   I know that I’ve done Glen Echo Park to death on this site. However, I just can’t resist this one extra post. I just like this picture.  I thought of Glen Echo again after the discussion on Pittsburgh Daily Photo  and this shot was the first thing on my mind.  Perhaps I didn’t care for picture a year ago when I was posting about Glen Echo becasue the lamp is sort of cropped out.  Now I certainly do care for it, and I hope you do too.   The spanish ballroom was one of many attractions at the park that has found a new life in the modern era, oddly enough in a similar way to its original use.
