
Well I thought this was appropriate for tomorrow’s big race. We will soon see who will win the preakneess and “hold” the most valuable trophy in professional sports, the Woodlawn Vase, for the next year.
Are you are wondering about where the name “Woodlawn Vase” came from. Why not call it the Canton Demitasse, the Sykesville Tankard, or the Dundalk Cup? You would be wrong to think that it was an arbitrary name, or that it was sponsored by the social security administration. It turns out that the vase was named after the Woodlawn Racing Association.
