
Here’s the public library in Upper Marlboro. For no rational reason, I believe that this is how a library should look. It’s a strong looking building. Perhaps that’s due to the brickwork with its strong colonial influences. However, it’s also welcoming, and I can’t quite grasp why. Perhaps the cupola, or the trim. If there’s anything wrong with it, I’d say its the size. I just don’t know how many books you can fit into that tiny building.
