This is Manor Circle or Warner Circle in Kensington MD. The house is named after the founder of the town Branard Warner who took it upon himself to create his ideal community with victorian architecture. The center of his town was this circle and its center was this house. Since its first use it has multiple uses, including becoming an elder – care facility and it is currently in limbo. The Townspeople of Kensington are adamant about making sure that this house, and the open space around it stay in this community.

Baltimore Ave CP
Here’s the Welcome to College Park sign along US route 1 in College Park. Route 1′s name: Baltimore Avenue. I can think of maybe 5 times when I’ve seen this road referred to as Baltimore Ave and not Route 1, but either way. Here it is.
This photo is fresh out of the kitchen, so I hope you like it. (by fresh out of the kitchen I mean, off my memory card).

Baltimore Ave

So this week’s theme has been roads named after Baltimore. (Yes, Baltimore st. did appear in yesterday’s photo. It was the third cross st. in the picture.) Here we have Baltimore Ave. just sort of visible as it intersects the line of the picture. Baltimore Ave. is the N-S. road closest to the beach in on the south side of Ocean City.
