This picture was taken at Photo Day in Camden Yards in 2004, along with some other pretty cool pictures that I’ll get around to sharing some day.
In the mean time, enjoy this shot of the left field foul pole. This pole has been in the park since it opened in 1992. The right field pole (not pictured) was brought over to Camden Yards from Memorial Stadium, making it one of the few veterans left on the field this year.
Also of note: the answer to Friday’s contest will be revealed tomorrow, though I will tell you that the answer has been given.

I thought both foul poles were from Memorial Stadium. I recall them making a big deal when the second one was installed.

It was Taneytown, wasn’t it?

Not Taneytown, sorry. You’ll find out tomorrow.
Also as to the left field pole, I can’t find anything about it being from Memorial Stadium as well. So I need some research help here. If it is now from Memorial Stadium, was the change made before 2004, when this picture was taken?
