People forget that Maryland has a significant equestrian heritage. As one of those people who, with the bustle of my daily activities, had forgotten about that, I was happy to come across this reminder. I believe that MDP will be making a greater effort to find good horse pictures, possibly by encouraging its photographers to learn how to gamble.

When my parents first moved to their neighborhood, there were a few horse farms a couple of blocks away. They have now been all converted to McMansion farms instead. So sad…

If you were from Texas, the bustle of your daily life would involve riding horses. Every day. To work. Wearing cowboy boots and spurs. Because that’s what we all do in Texas… Yay horse photos! (By the way, “bustle”???)
